Batsford Prize shortlisted entries

 

Batsford is happy to announce the shortlisted entries for the Batsford Prize 2013. Tina Persaud, publisher of Batsford, and  Katie Cowan, publisher of Collins & Brown, both agreed that “all the entries were of a very high standard, and marked a great start to what will be an annual event for the fine and applied art student community”.

 

The judges deliberating over the entries were  Fine Art Photographer  Vaughan Grylls, Textile Artist Gwen Hedley, Collins & Brown and Portico publisher Katie Cowan, and Batsford publisher Tina Persaud. The judges want to thank everyone for applying for The Batsford Prize and are happy to shortlist the following students:

Congratulations to all. The shortlisted entrants will receive further information on the second stage of The Batsford Prize. The winner will be announced in the next 2 weeks.
