Delivery Terms and Conditions
By placing an order via our website you are accepting these Terms & Conditions. Please read these terms and conditions before placing an order.
“Anova Books” means Anova Books Company Limited whose registered office is at 10 Southcombe Street, London, W14 0RA. Company Registration No. 3818774. “You” means the person placing the order. By placing an order bycompleting and submitting an electronic order via our website, you are making an offer to purchase goods, which if accepted by Anova Books, will result in a binding contract. Anova Books must receive payment of the whole of the price for the goods that you order before your order can be accepted. Please note orders will only be dispatched once we have received authorisation from your payment card issuer. We will not be liable if there is a delay and we cannot accept your order if payment is not authorised. Anova Books does not sell goods to children online. By using the website to buy goods online, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or, if you are under 18 years old, that you are accessing the website only with the consent and assistance of your parent or guardian. After you have placed your order Anova Books will send you an email to acknowledge your order and confirm which goods you have ordered. Please note that this email does not constitute an order acceptance from us and we reserve the right to refuse any order. Anova Books are not obliged to accept your order and will not accept your order for reasons including but not limited to the following:
- the goods are currently not in stock;
- your payment is not authorised;
- there is an error on our website regarding the price or other details of the goods; or
- you have cancelled your order in the manner prescribed below
When we dispatch your goods we will send you a confirmation email. This means we formally accept the order, and are obliged to complete the contract.
Cancelling Orders
If you change your mind after placing an order, you can cancel it at any time before we dispatch it. Please email Customer Services stating “Order Cancellation” You will need to give us written confirmation of your name, address and your order number to cancel your order. If you cancel part of an order the postage and packaging charge will be recalculated on the price of the goods you keep. Cancelled orders will be refunded in full however this does not include any return shipping costs that you incur.
Product Availability, Pricing and Payment
All goods offered via the website are subject to availability. Anova Books tries to ensure that all product specifications, images and other information published on our website are as accurate and up to date as possible however we cannot guarantee the liability or accuracy of this information. As such, some of the goods may be subject to any variations, errors or inaccuracies.
Prices throughout the website are quoted in Pounds Sterling and payment can only be accepted in Pounds Sterling. Prices include VAT (where applicable). Packaging and delivery costs will be added to the total price of your goods.
While we make every effort to ensure that the goods shown on our website are currently available at the price shown, we cannot guarantee this will always be the case. Prices may change and any offers posted on the website may be withdrawn at any time. The price you pay is the price of the goods shown at the time you place your order, even if the price of the goods has changed since. If goods you have ordered are unavailable, you will be notified as soon as possible.
For goods in stock your payment card will be debited for our order on the day that we dispatch your goods.

Delivery
Orders placed on standard delivery will be delivered to you postage free as long as the products ordered can be shipped together and have a value of £20 or above. When you place your order you will be asked to choose between standard or express delivery. Standard delivery is 1st Class Royal Mail and should take 2-3 days to arrive. Express is delivered by Fedex and should be delivered to you the next day (depending on where you live). This is a trackable service. Please make your order before 12pm to guarantee these delivery times. We will deliver goods to the address specified by you in the order process. Goods will be posted or sent by either standard delivery via Royal Mail or express delivery via courier in accordance with the selection you indicate on the electronic order form. International Orders
Please note that we currently cannot process orders to international addresses directly from our website. For all international orders, please email with your contact details customerservices@anovabooks.com. We will contact you regarding your specific order asap.
Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of dispatch of the order. All delivery times quoted on the web site are estimates only, based on availability, normal processing and delivery companies. Anova Books cannot be held responsible for failure to deliver the goods if you have supplied us with incorrect information; in circumstance whereby the goods will not fit into a letterbox and the address is unattended; or any other reason once the goods have been dispatched. If goods arrive in a damaged condition, if possible make a note on the consignment note and inform us as soon as possible after the delivery. It is your responsibility to confirm that the correct number of packages, as indicated on the consignment note included with your goods, has been delivered. Any shortages must be noted on the consignment note and it will be your responsibility to notify us via Customer Services within 10 days from delivery. You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when the goods are dispatched to you from our distribution centre. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods should be conveyed to us as soon as possible after delivery. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk.
Returns Policy
If you are not satisfied with the goods or they did not meet your expectations please notify us within 10 days of receiving your order. Please email Customer Services by email stating "RETURNS" as the subject and include all applicable correspondence. Upon written notification we will at our option exchange the goods; make good any shortage or non-delivery; or refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question to the original method of payment. To receive a full refund the goods must be returned in their original packaging and in the same condition in which they were received. If you wish to return goods you have a duty to keep them in your possession and to take reasonable care of them until you return them. Please note that our returns policy does not affect your consumer statutory rights.
General
Anova Books will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem relating to goods delivered to you and shall have no liability to pay any compensation other than to refund you the amount paid for the goods upon their return. Please note that nothing contained herein limits any rights you have as a consumer under the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these terms and conditions creates any right which is enforceable by any person who is not a party to the contract between you and Anova Books. Anova Books shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver the goods you have ordered or for any delay, damage or defect to goods delivered caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control. If any part of these conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which Anova Books excludes its liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.

Governing Law
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law, and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions set out our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by Anova Books. Nothing said by any sales person on behalf of Anova Books should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions and Anova Books does not accept any liability for any such representations.
